The Difference:
Paraffin is an inexpensive and
plentiful kerosene by-product produced from
petroleum, which is used by most candle manufacturers
to produce the wax used in their candles. Paraffin
wax contains 11 documented toxins. Two of these
toxins are toluene and benzene, which are known
to be carcinogenic. Basically, when you burn
paraffin wax from a candle it produces some
very unhealthy soot emissions.
Nature has provided us with a
healthy alternative to paraffin wax . Burning
Soy candles contributes to a better, healthier
environment.
